Felix wound his arms around Shannon's neck, hardly able to breathe himself. That kiss had stolen something from him... or ignited something within him. He couldn't say which, but he knew he felt strangely changed.
The silence between them seemed to drift into Felix's mind, normally so quick and loud and tumultuous, full of words and thoughts and ideas. But now, it was gloriously quiet, empty. A relief that Felix could find nowhere else but at the mercy of another. And yet, every other part of him felt so full. So complete.
